My paintings are intended to provoke an audience into questioning the validity of their pre-existing ideas and values in regards to science and the effect it has upon the way we see the world. I have applied the imagery of scientific diagrams to concepts such as love and innocence to reveal the fact that science is insufficient in providing us with intuitively satisfying answers when it comes to the questions that give purpose and meaning to life. The end result of my paintings is a parody of science and an exposition of its innate limitations.
